White wine - Naire (Verdejo Spain)
This wine was pretty good.
This wine was pretty good.
This wine was very good. Smooth and full bodied. Nativa Terra, Reserva Carmenere, 2009. Curico Valley, Chile.
This wine was really really bad. Arido Malbec 2008. Mendoza, Argentina.
At first I was not sure about this wine. Is it pretty light as far as red wines go. But after I drank the first bottle, I got another one, and then 3 more. It has a pretty light, but still very good red wine flavor, that makes it very versatile in my book. I enjoyed drinking it with charcoal grilled chicken. And it also went very well with spicy Indian veggie korma and green beans. It's not often that I can find a red wine that I can drink with such a variety of dishes.
Lately I have been really enjoying this wine. Somewhat sweet, a bit sour, a bit bubbly. Really easy to drink.
Moscato D'Asti, Vigneti, Castello del Poggio.
